Update: OFO Lost My Loyalty With Reasons

How to take a train from Munich Hbf to Munich airport at no additional charge under a DB Long-haul ticket.

As many people trying to (including myself) save money on regional transports without fare dodging which is again the law in Germany, many of them don’t know that you could include S-Bach, RB and RE Trains in you DB Long-haul train tickets (ICE, IC, EC) except forS pearis Akiton fares at no additional charges. This could save a few buck in some situation, but could save more in this situation. Taking a train from Munich Hbf- Munich airport is not very easy as there is no ICE, IC,EC,RB,RE trains (Unlike Frankfurt) to the airport. The only train going to the airport is the S-bahn 1,8. If you manage to get ln the S-Bahn 8, that is easy since you can just stay in the S-train until the end. But if you are on the S-bahn 1 it includes a transfer in some scenarios. The S-Bahn train split into two lines in Neufron, the front carriage will go to Freishing while the back carriage will go to the airport. If you are on the back carriage, you are safe but if you are at the front, don’t worry so much, just stand at the back of the front carriage before arriving at Neufron. After arriving at Neufron, walk straight into the back carriage after you exited the front. The back carriage usually departs two minutes after the train arrive at Neufron. The train usually takes around 40 Minutes between Hbf and Airport including the waiting at Neufron, around 10 minutes between Neufron and Airport. After you have arrived at the airport, terminal 1 is behind the train while terminal 2 is near the front of the train, it is quite easy to navigate and found the airport terminal compare to some airport and the distance between the terminal and the train station is fairly close which is way better than the situation in Guangzhou.
