Boarding through door L1

Scoot Biz

For this flight, Scoot allows Economy passenger using door L1 even though they also opened door L2, I think that they are trying to squeeze the boarding time a little bit, but this is not a smart idea in most traditional airline.

Economy Bulkhead

As I have mentioned in my quick review, Scoot create a Zone Called "Scoot Silence" which is generally a kid's free zone! No kids under the age of 12 are allowed on this seats. These seats are recognized as "Super Seats" Which offer 35-inch of pitch and adjustable headrests. The first row is called Bulkhead seat which is even more expensive than Super seats. Aside from Super and Bulkhead, all seats feature about 31 inches of pitch and don't have adjustable headrest.

Cockpit

Scoot opened the Cockpit door before pushback, I was able to snap a picture of it.

Life Vest

Scoot Biz seats have life vest in the centre console due to the leg rest, while Economy has life vest under the seat.

ScooTV code

After takeoff, Scoot Biz passenger receives a ScooTV code, I wish Scoot Biz Passenger receive a Wifi code instead, or at least a discount wifi code. (Update: Scoot now charge passenger Wifi prices based on Data usage instead of time)

Dreamliner lighting

One feature the 787 have that is cool is this lighting shown in this image, but I don't think this is a great way to use it as most passenger is sleeping.

Scoot Biz meal

Scoot passenger will receive one free meal onboard, I pre-order mine, which is Stew Chicken Chestnut. Is pretty good for a Premium Economy meal.

Economy class

Economy class, not very wide seat width compare to other airlines.

Wonderful Window view

The window view outside looks amazing when we are in the middle of the flight before the sunrises.

Arriving Hong Kong

Scoot only uses door L2 when they are overseas, which they hold other passengers in order to let Scoot Biz passengers leaves first, which I think is not a bad idea.

Scoot Dreamliner Hong Kong

Bottom Line

While Scoot doesn't have a comparable product with other airlines, I think for this price I would definitely choose Scoot.
